SWAC @ George Brown College
Twenty-five students from Danforth participated in School Within A College (SWAC) at George Brown College. Students earned both a college level credit and a high school credit during the month of July in a college setting.  It was a great opportunity to help students transition from high school to college as they become familiar with the different types of college programs offered and ways to pay for them.

Power Your Future Program @ George Brown College

Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute students are recovering credits in the 'Power Your Future' (PYF) program at George Brown College (GBC). During the month of July more than 50 students recovered grade 9 and 10 core subject credits.  Students were provided with  breakfast and lunch along with transportation to and from GBC. Thanks to the Toronto District School Boards' Continuing Education department and central staff for providing the funding to support students and help them get back on track with credit accumulation. GBC was not only an amazing host for the PYF program but they also provided presentations and tours of the college programs.
