MaST create and launch plastic rockets!

On March 10th, the Grade nine MaST tech students launched their rockets, aiming to fulfill their design goals.  The requirements of this Tech Design rotation were to plan, build and launch a ballistic rocket that would carry a payload and be structurally sound enough to survive the landing and be launched again.  This involved the use of computer aided software, manufacturing techniques and applied scientific (ballistic) theory.  Though one rocket unexpectedly flew left halfway through its flight pattern, all exceeded their mark by travelling at least 250 feet (twice) in our football field.  A fine effort provided by everyone.
