Both students were accepted into the Ted Rogers Management Conference to compete over the march break for $4000 of seed funding for their company from the Ted Rogers School of Business at Ryerson University.
As well, their lengthy application to the Ontario Center for Excellence (OCE) was accepted. What this means is HelpWear is now in the top 70 companies for OCE funding, and they will be able to compete and present at their distinguished "Discovery Conference", to compete for more funding. The event also puts us in OCE's system bettering their grant prospects for the future.
